This Privacy Policy explains how Eventops (“the Service”) collects, uses, stores, and protects personal and operational data when you use the incident management platform. It applies to all authorized users of the Service.
We collect account details (name, email address, role), incident reports you submit (title, description, category, priority, zone, reporter name and contact number), media you attach (photos, voice notes), device location data you choose to include, and timestamps of activity. We do not collect payment data and we do not run advertising or third-party tracking technologies.
Data is used solely to operate the Service: dispatching and resolving incident reports, generating operational analytics and AI-assisted summaries, notifying relevant team members of updates, maintaining security and audit logs, and improving the reliability of the platform. We do not sell personal data to any third party.
We process personal data only to the extent necessary to deliver the Service, based on legitimate operational interest and, where applicable, contractual necessity. We apply data minimization principles and collect only what is required for incident operations.
Access is by pre-authorized invitation only. Role-based permissions restrict what each user can see; standard users only see their own reports. All data access is enforced by server-side policies and row-level security controls.
Data is stored on managed, encrypted cloud infrastructure. All transport is protected with HTTPS and HTTP Strict Transport Security (HSTS), and access is authenticated per session. Uploaded media is held in private storage and served only to authorized users.
We do not share personal data with third parties except with infrastructure providers strictly necessary to host and operate the Service, each bound by confidentiality and data protection obligations. We do not disclose data to law enforcement unless legally compelled, and we notify affected customers where permitted.
Operational data is retained for the duration of the customer relationship and for a reasonable period thereafter for audit and continuity purposes. On request by your organization, data can be exported or deleted in accordance with our data processing commitments.
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to access, correct, export, restrict, or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. Contact your event operations administrator or email security@eventops.cloud to exercise these rights. We respond to verified requests within 30 days.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
